This guide was submitted to us by Tyler Sandoe, Thank you Tyler!

This guide is designed for use and education towards one of HoN’s recently imported heroes: Tundra. You may also know him as Rexxar from DoTA…

More indepth description:

This guide is also designed for solo’ing any lane to get those levels up quickly, whether this be due to a jungler on your team, you taking mid, or someone on your team choosing to take a roaming path. All are viable options… If anyone mocks you for bringing tundra mid, ignore them and show them up later on.

Starting with your starting ITEMS ;) … this is NON-random.

3 Runes of Blight
1 Health Potion
1 Buckler/Shield (whatever it’s terminology is…located in the armor or defensive shop)
3 minor totems

Why start with these items? This build (items and skill path) creates tundra into a tanky ganker and aggressive play style. You have enough healing supplies for any solo lane, and enough armor/protection to make you a tank from level one (relatively). Also, this build requires very LITTLE mana, so instead of getting mana potions for a normal route, I substituted in a health potion.

Level up 1 skill in “Cold Shoulder”. (This is your best starting skill, as it does a fair amount of damage, launches you at your enemy, and has a short cooldown. Can also get you out of tricky situations if you play it right. In the past I would recommend getting your pets at level 1, but because the BIRD is the only pet that spawns with 1 level in the skill, it is useless unless your team needs an early scout for some reason).

After buying your items, head to a rune spot with some team mates. Ask for a DD if you can get one to help you get last hits early on in your solo lane, or a haste rune if you want to get a first blood easily. Illusion runes help, but should be given to a range hero. You wont need a regen or invis.

If you get the rune you want, great, otherwise head back to your solo lane and play passively. Try to avoid attacking the other player, but dont be afraid to get in there and deny/last hit. Tundra has great last hit potential with his animation speed. Because cold shoulder has a very short cooldown/mana cost, use it to last hit enemy creeps once you get its timing down.

The Pharaoh

Introduction

The Pharaoh is one of the most unique and interesting Heroes in HoN. He is based quite heavily on the Clockwerk Hero of Dota, however, he is much more effective than Clockwerk due to significant improvements in his skills. He is one of the rare heroes in HoN which remains useful throughout the entire game, whether it be early, mid, or late game. The other rare attribute the Pharaoh has, is that his skills ALL have more than one EXTREMELY helpful use, I will explain this in later on in detail. Throughout this guide I will explain his skills, how to use them, how to build your Pharaoh, and overall how to lay waste to the opposite team!
